In June 2020, there were 12 VCM sausage tanks in this tank area needed to install level meters, the previous ones were using differential pressure and magnetic flap level meters. Because the VCM tank area was a major hazard source and the company should add the SIS system to it, that was to say the company needed some non-contact level meters to get into the SIS system. The installation of DHE’s non-contact level transmitters doesn’t need cleaning the tank, using flame or drilling. The transmitters can be mounted on tanks during the working process without affecting the operation. Those transmitters are still in a good condition right now.
