Power Industry - (Liquid Ammonia) A Power Plant in Pingliang City, Gansu Province

The power plant is located in Pingliang City, Gansu Province.

The company belongs to the industry of production and supply of water. Its main industry is power and heat production and supply, and its service field is the construction, operation and management of power plants.

In June 2020, there were two liquid ammonia horizontal tanks needed to be installed with level transmitters. Due to the inspection requirements, there needed to be two kinds of level meters with different measurement principles on the same one tank. But there was only one magnetic flap meter in operation and for remote transmission. The power plant wanted to install a level transmitter with different measurement principle and the installation could not affect the operation. The totally isolated installation of DHE’s non-contact level transmitters did not need to drill on tanks, clean tanks’ inside or stop operation, which was favored by users. Moreover, DHE’s transmitters were also used in other companies or plants of the same industry with good performance. Therefore, the power plant decided to install two DHE’s Sonar Non-contact Level Transmitters which are still stable right now.
