ELL Sonar Non-contact Level Transmitter Application

The company, established on August 18, 2008, is located in Ningdong energy and chemical base, Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The Shuidonggou power plant project of the company is a key project of power construction in Ningxia during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan. It is the first large-scale thermal power plant controlled and constructed by Beijing energy group outside North China. It is also a project with the largest single unit capacity and the highest parameters under construction by Beijing Energy Group. The phase I project of Shuidonggou power plant is a supercritical surface indirect air-cooling unit, with a planned investment of 5.25 billion yuan. It is invested and constructed by Beijing Energy Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. and Ningxia Power Generation Group Co., Ltd. in the proportion of 65% and 35% respectively. The ash and slag removal system of the project adopts the methods of ash and slag separation, dry ash discharge and coarse and fine storage, the full capacity limestone wet flue gas desulfurization system and selective catalytic reduction denitration device are constructed simultaneously, and the 750kV outgoing line is connected to Yinchuan East substation. After the completion of phase I project, the annual power generation exceeded 7 billion kWh and the annual tax paid exceeded 200 million yuan.

In 2015, for monitoring the liquid level of liquid ammonia horizontal tank, the company installed two DHE’s ELL-FI Non-contact Level Transmitters, which are still in a good condition with high accuracy.
