ELL Sonar Non-contact Level Transmitter Application

The company is located in Yijing Town, Fengfeng mining area, Handan City, Hebei Province. It is the largest Sino foreign joint venture project in Hebei Province during the Ninth Five Year Plan period, with a total investment of 7.88 billion yuan. The plant covers an area of 73.54 hectares and has a planned capacity of 2400mw. Hebei electric power company, Hebei Construction Investment Company, German Siemens company and German Hamburg electric power company invested 40%, 20%, 24% and 16% respectively to jointly establish Hebei Hanfeng Power Generation Co., Ltd. to be responsible for the financing, construction, operation and loan repayment of the project.

As the denitration system of reducing agent, the liquid ammonia is used to remove NOX from the gas produced in the boiler combustion, which would reduce the release of air pollution and protect the environment.

The ammonia station of the power plant is mainly composed of four Φ 3400mm * l9000mm liquid ammonia storage tank. Three for use and one for standby. At the initial stage of plant construction, magnetic flap level gauge is used for liquid level management. The company installed the first DHE’s non-contact level transmitter in October 2014, which is still in good performance. By December 2015, the four liquid level tanks of the power plant were installed with DHE’s non-contact level transmitters.
