On September 8, 2023, just before the 39th Teachers' Day, Mr. Pi, Chairman and CEO of Yangtze Optical Electronic Co., Ltd., along with Mr. Chen Gongwen, Chairman of the Labor Union, and Mr. Zhao Yanlin, Manager of the Legal and Audit Department, represented the company in a donation and assistance activity at Zelin High School in Ezhou City. Deputy District Mayor He Jianping of Ezhou City's Echeng District, Principal Gan Heping of Zelin High School, and other district leaders, as well as teachers and students at the school, warmly welcomed Mr. Pi and his delegation.

During the event, Chairman Mr.Pi quoted three poems to inspire the students present:

He quoted the Tang Dynasty poet Meng Jiao's "Song of a Wanderer" to encourage the students to be grateful to their mothers, teachers, and their homeland.

He cited the Qing Dynasty poet Yuan Mei's "Moss" to motivate the students, emphasizing that moss, although it grows in dark and damp places, possesses its own life instincts and a will to survive, never losing the courage to thrive despite adverse conditions.

Chairman Mr.Pi also referenced the famous Qing Dynasty scholar Wang Guowei's "Words on the Human World" to discuss the three stages of scholarly achievement. He shared his own life experiences to inspire the students to aspire to greatness, understand the value of perseverance, and achieve success with determination.

He further stated that adversity is a school of life, and those who endure and emerge from this school with heads held high will become strong individuals in life.

In conclusion, Chairman Pi expressed his gratitude to the former principal of Zelin High School, Mr. Li Jiaxun, as well as to the teachers at Zelin High School, including Mr. Ma Binghua, Mr. Huang Guocai, Ms. Chen Qiaoyun, Mr. Tan Xinqiao, Mr. Wang Heping, and Mr. Lv Yaohua. He expressed his hope that Zelin High School would return to its former glory.

Acts of kindness and generosity touch the heart and inspire progress. Principal Gan Heping expressed heartfelt gratitude for Chairman Pi Yabin's annual donation of 300,000 RMB (for ten consecutive years), the improvement and renovation of Zelin High School's historical archives, and assistance in modernizing the school campus. These actions are a sincere way of giving back to their hometown and alma mater. Principal Gan hopes that the students present will remember this kindness, strive for excellence, and repay this care with outstanding achievements.

Finally, Deputy District Mayor He Jianping expressed her gratitude to Chairman Pi Yabin for his strong attachment to his alma mater and his active contributions to the school's development. She also encouraged the students to uphold the spirit of "fear no difficulties in overcoming challenges and fear no hardships in pursuing education." She urged them to set high standards for themselves and aspire to become the pillars of the nation in the future.
