YOEC Showcases Fiber Laser Solutions at LASER CHINA 2025

From March 11 to 13, 2025, the 20th LASER World of PHOTONICS CHINA was grandly held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Yangtze Optical Electronic Co., Ltd. (YOEC, Stock Code: 688143) made a remarkable appearance at Booth 3506 in Hall N3, showcasing its comprehensive fiber laser solutions.

1. Femtosecond Laser Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) Writing System

YOEC’s femtosecond laser FBG writing system utilizes innovative technology to inscribe FBGs onto transparent fibers, high-end specialty fibers, and cost-effective commercial fibers. Compared to traditional processes, this system offers superior tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and durability under high-temperature and high-humidity conditions. It is widely applicable in fiber optic communications, fiber sensing, and laser applications.

2. Laser Beam Quality Analyzer

YOEC’s laser beam quality analyzer garnered significant attention at the exhibition. This device is capable of analyzing both high-power and low-power laser beams with exceptional bit resolution, high attenuation rates, and outstanding stability. Its customized software enables precise optical parameter fitting and supports the establishment of homogenization quality evaluation standards for uniform optical fibers, providing accurate measurement support for fiber laser applications.

3. Hollow-Core Anti-Resonant Fiber

The hollow-core anti-resonant fiber features a node-free cladding tube design, ensuring stable single-mode characteristics, ultra-low transmission loss, wide transmission bandwidth, and excellent beam quality control. It is ideal for short-distance high-power optical transmission. Its unique light-guiding mechanism enables highly efficient optical signal transmission in air, advancing high-speed optical communication technologies.

4. Multi-Core Rotating Fiber

YOEC’s multi-core rotating fiber integrates a multi-core structure with a rotational design, allowing a single fiber to contain multiple independent cores arranged in a helical or periodic rotation pattern. This configuration endows the fiber with unique transmission properties, offering new possibilities for innovative applications in fiber laser technology.

Expert Insights at the Conference

During the exhibition, Dr. Lian Zhenggang, YOEC’s Technical Director, was invited to speak at the 4th China Laser Leadership Conference. His presentation, titled "Leading the Way in Specialty Optical Fibers: The Innovation Journey of a ‘Little Giant’", reviewed YOEC’s 16-year journey, highlighted key technological breakthroughs under the company’s "5+1" concentric circle strategy, and explored the significance of large-core fibers, hollow-core microstructured fibers, laser beam quality testing devices, and laser grating inscription technologies in the laser industry.

Additionally, Dr. Luo Zhijun, YOEC’s Deputy Technical Director, was interviewed by Optoelectronics Hub Media, where he provided an in-depth analysis of the industrial applications of hollow-core fiber technology. He noted that while the technological gap between domestic and international hollow-core fiber technologies has narrowed, challenges remain in manufacturing efficiency and unresolved technical bottlenecks. YOEC has established a dedicated team to enhance production efficiency and accelerate the commercialization of hollow-core fibers to meet the demands of cutting-edge applications such as AI computing cluster interconnects.
