YOEC Showcases Full-Chain Femtosecond Laser Solutions at 2025 Summit
On May 13, 2025, the 3rd Laser & Optical Fiber Industry Technology Summit was grandly held at the Wuhan Optics Valley Chaoman Kerry International Hotel. The event was jointly organized by the Hubei Optical Society and LaserHome, bringing together prominent figures and enterprise representatives from the fields of fiber manufacturing and laser applications. Aimed at promoting technological exchange and innovation, the summit facilitated in-depth collaboration and technical synergy among companies. It also sought to empower the development of laser medicine, laser processing, laser communication, and scientific research through the integrated advancement of laser and optical fiber technologies.
Dr. Ruan Qiujun, a research engineer from Yangtze Optical Electronic Co., Ltd. (YOEC, Stock Code: 688143), was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled "Femtosecond Laser Chain: Flexible Transmission – Grating Inscription – Beam Detection", in which he systematically presented the company's three major technological breakthroughs in the femtosecond laser field:
Hollow-core anti-resonant fiber technology: YOEC has developed low-loss, high-performance hollow-core anti-resonant fibers. By optimizing transmission loss, mode control, and extending the operating wavelength, this technology addresses the industry challenges of flexible high-power femtosecond laser transmission and provides an efficient medium for various applications.
Femtosecond laser grating inscription system: Leveraging the ultra-precision processing capability of femtosecond lasers, the system enables customized inscription of various fiber gratings, supporting the construction of advanced fiber laser systems and innovations in sensing applications.
Domestically developed beam quality analyzer: Breaking the monopoly of Western technologies, YOEC’s self-developed high-precision analyzer offers a localized solution for high-power laser beam quality evaluation and has gained broad industry recognition.
Dr. Ruan emphasized the immense potential of femtosecond laser technology in fields such as precision manufacturing and biomedical applications, owing to its ultra-high peak power and ultrashort pulse characteristics. Committed to technological self-reliance, YOEC continues to deepen its full-chain R&D in femtosecond laser transmission, application, and detection, contributing to the comprehensive development of the industry.
This summit provided YOEC with a valuable platform to enhance communication and cooperation with customers, promoting the company’s products and services while creating new opportunities for future development. Staying true to its mission of “providing the best solutions for signal transmission and energy delivery,” YOEC will continue to strengthen its R&D and production capabilities, support the growth of China’s laser high-tech industry with high-quality services, and deliver better products and services to customers.
