YOEC at the 2025 Advanced Optoelectronic Materials Forum
YOEC Invited to the 2025 International Conference on Advanced Optoelectronic Materials, Technologies, and Applications to Deliver a Technical Report
From November 21 to 23, 2025, the 3rd International Conference on Advanced Optoelectronic Materials, Technologies, and Applications opened grandly in Fuzhou. As a high-level academic and industrial exchange event in the optoelectronics field, the conference was hosted by the Chinese Society for Optical Engineering. Centered on the theme of “Focusing on Breakthroughs in Device Integration, Functionalization, and Industrialization of Optoelectronic Materials,” the event gathered leading global experts, scholars, industry representatives, and research institutions to explore emerging industry trends, innovative technological pathways, and new opportunities for industrial implementation.
Featuring extensive coverage and strong technical depth, the conference not only focused on cutting-edge research advancements in perovskites, quantum dots, and two-dimensional materials, but also highlighted the industrialization of key technologies such as silicon photonics integration and co-packaged optics (CPO). The event served as an efficient platform for technical exchange and resource integration, promoting the high-quality development of the global optoelectronics industry. Wuhan Yangtze Optical Electronic Co., Ltd. (YOEC, Stock Code: 688143) was invited to participate in the conference.
During the opening ceremony, Academician Huang Wei of the Chinese Academy of Sciences delivered an inspiring address. He shared major breakthroughs and landmark achievements in China’s flexible electronics research, analyzed the industry’s future development directions and key opportunities, and provided valuable academic and industrial insights to attendees. At the same session, the Optoelectronic Materials and Devices Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Optical Engineering was officially established. The creation of this professional platform will play an important role in fostering industry innovation, integrating resources, and promoting technology development and commercialization in the field of optoelectronic materials and devices.
On November 22, the first committee meeting and the “15th Five-Year Plan Optoelectronic Materials and Devices Development Chain Lead Roundtable” were successfully held. The meeting focused on development planning, technology challenges, and industry-chain collaboration for optoelectronic materials and devices during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Dr. Guan Zhongyuan from YOEC’s R&D Center was elected as a committee member. During the roundtable discussion, Dr. Guan shared constructive insights on breaking through key technical bottlenecks and building a collaborative and efficient industrial ecosystem, providing innovative and practical suggestions based on industry trends and YOEC’s experience—making valuable contributions to the high-quality development of the optoelectronics sector.
On November 23, at the “Optical Fiber Materials and Devices” forum, Dr. Guan delivered a presentation on behalf of YOEC titled “Specialty Optical Fiber Development Technologies for Sensing Applications.” His report addressed the industry's critical needs for miniaturization and integration of fiber optic gyroscopes and detailed YOEC’s ultra-thin polarization-maintaining fiber solutions, including their technical principles, core strengths, and application performance. Dr. Guan also highlighted YOEC’s key sensing products for underwater detection, intelligent security, and seismic monitoring, showcasing the company’s strong application performance across diverse fields. The report concluded with an overview of YOEC’s core technological platforms in fiber manufacturing, materials R&D, and device integration, demonstrating the company’s robust foundation for building an integrated “R&D–Manufacturing–Application” micro value chain and providing high-quality solutions for global customers.
The successful hosting of the 3rd International Conference on Advanced Optoelectronic Materials, Technologies, and Applications established a global platform for optoelectronic technology exchange and clarified the development direction for optoelectronic materials and devices during the 15th Five-Year Plan. YOEC’s active participation—Dr. Guan’s election to the committee, his contribution of industry insights, and the company’s presentation of specialty fiber technologies—highlights YOEC’s competitiveness in key niche segments. Looking ahead, YOEC will continue to respond to industry needs with precise technical solutions, contributing to technological advancement and supply chain independence in China’s optoelectronics sector.
