YOEC Wins “Best Ultrafast Laser Technology Innovation Award” at 2025 Laser Summit

On November 28, 2025, the “2025 4th China Laser Rising-Star Enterprise Summit & Advanced Laser Processing Technology Forum,” co-hosted by the Hubei Optical Society and Laser Home, successfully concluded in Wuhan. As a top-tier event in the laser industry, the forum brought together leading experts and scholars, creating a high-level platform for technical exchange and industry collaboration.

During the award selection session, Yangtze Optical Electronic Co., Ltd. (YOEC, stock code: 688143) won the “Best Ultrafast Laser Technology Innovation Award” for its independently developed optical parametric amplification module. This recognition not only affirms YOEC’s long-term strategic focus in the laser field but also highlights its strong capabilities in ultrafast laser technology R&D.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ruan Qiujun from YOEC’s R&D Center delivered a keynote speech titled “Rare-Earth-Doped Fibers: Visible-Light Ultrafast Fiber Lasers.” In the presentation, Dr. Ruan systematically explained the key advantages of constructing visible-light ultrafast fiber lasers based on rare-earth-doped optical fibers. She detailed the complete technical process—from the fabrication of rare-earth-doped fluoride fibers and the construction of visible-light fiber laser cavities to the generation of ultrashort pulses—sharing both the latest academic findings and prospects for future applications and development in the visible-light spectrum.

Addressing the current industry landscape, Dr. Ruan noted that although domestic ultrafast laser products have made rapid progress in the past decade, there remains a performance gap compared with international manufacturers, with most market share still dominated by foreign enterprises. She recommended that domestic companies continue improving product performance and stability, while increasing R&D efforts toward miniaturization, modularization, and cost reduction to provide core technical support for the advancement of ultrafast laser applications.
