YOEC Showcases Innovation in Specialty Optical Fiber and Intelligent Manufacturing at OVC EXPO 2026

From May 18 to 20, 2026, the 21st “Optics Valley of China” International Optoelectronic Exposition was held at the Optics Valley Convention & Exhibition Center in Wuhan. Focusing on strategic sectors including fiber optic sensing, intelligent optical communications, and laser manufacturing, this year’s exhibition brought together leading global optoelectronic enterprises and industry experts.

On the opening day of the exhibition, the 2026 China Top 10 Optical Industry Technology Innovation Conference and Award Ceremony was held simultaneously. YOEC won the 2025 China Top 10 Optical Industry Technology Innovation Award for its “Intelligent Fully Automated Fiber Optic Gyroscope Coil Winding Technology.”
This technology effectively addresses key industry challenges associated with traditional winding processes, such as low efficiency, poor consistency, and difficult precision control. Through intelligent and automated process upgrades, the technology enables high-precision, high-consistency, and high-efficiency mass production of fiber optic gyroscope coils, significantly improving product performance.

The “China Top 10 Optical Industry Technology Awards” is one of the most influential annual professional awards in China’s optical industry, recognizing benchmark technologies with breakthrough innovation, industrial value, and industry-leading significance. This award fully demonstrates industry recognition of YOEC’s technological innovation and industrialization capabilities in fiber optic sensing and precision optical manufacturing.

At the exhibition, YOEC’s subsidiary, Optics Valley Metering & Calibration Co., Ltd. (OVMC), presented a range of core equipment, including MCVD systems, fiber drawing towers, fiber screening machines, and multi-axis fiber winding machines, covering the entire optical fiber manufacturing process.
