National Predictive Maintenance Contract signed

End of December 2018, a key player in US Power Supply signed a 3-year contract with I-care Reliability Inc. to monitor their critical and Balance of Plant (BoP) assets on all its production sites.

46 plants to monitor in 4 different US states

The I-care technicians dedicated to this contract will assure all predictive maintenance tasks are performed during 3 years on the 46 plants of the customer spread across 4 different States in USA. These tasks include periodic vibration analysis, lubrication analysis, electric switch gear and fixed equipment thermal monitoring, and offline motor testing. The program kick-off meeting has been completed with the customer and I-care Reliability will be fully engaged in early March 2019. This is a key win for I-care Reliaiblity Inc and I-care Group overall. I-care Reliability Inc is now a fully established PdM services provider in North

America.

I-care as preferred partner among 8 other competitors

First contact with this new customer started five months ago, in August 2018, during a demonstration of Wi-care™ & I-see™, our Maintenance 4.0 solution. Even if it was too early for the customer to move to such connected solution and thanks to the great work made by our US Sales & Projects team, I-care won the customer’s tender.

What made the difference was the I-care vision of maintenance, the global expertise and service approach I-care Group is able to propose. Indeed, with more than 350 engineers servicing customers in 50 countries worldwide, I-care has acquired an outstanding expertise and is one of the few companies in the world able to propose a A-to-Z solution in Asset Health Management.

First step on the road to Maintenance 4.0

Initially, the service provided through this contract will not be remotely done by IIoT devices (requirement from the customer to stay in conventional methods), a first step to Maintenance 4.0 will be done thanks to the integration of all data, analysis and reports into I-see™, the I-care’s cloud-based solution for PdM data treatment. An interface from I-see to the customer’s ERP is also part of the project, allowing the customer to have a seemless end-to-end maintenance process. All along the contract, I-care team will advice and support the customer to progressively integrate remote condition monitoring, thus developing the path and vision with the customer to comprehensive asset heath management, Maintenance 4.0.
