Situation:
In order to prevent fungal infections and promote a uniform ripening of the grapes, defoliants are used to carefully and gently remove leaves around the grapes. The defoliant adapts optimally to the requirements of all vineyards. A perforated roller, guided closely along the foliage, sucks in the leaves of the vine. By using a second, counter-running rubber roller, the leaves at the intersection of both rollers are picked up and removed.
Solution:
A Mink brush roller, positioned at the back of the defoliant, ensures reliable cleaning of the perforated roller by ejecting the sucked-in leaves and cleaning the holes. Even small plant residues are reliably removed.
