EROWA CleverClamp System: Clamping workpieces quickly and flexibly

The clamping elements of EROWA’s CleverClamp system are specially tailored to the production of one-off parts and small series. They are simple to handle and serve a wide variety of applications. They decrease setting-up times, increase machining times and improve productivity.

Construction kit

The basic rails of the CleverClamp workpiece tooling system are calibrated to fit the EROWA UPC and EROWA MTS production tooling systems. They can be used horizontally or vertically. The wide range of clamping elements can be positioned quickly on to the precisely toothed base rails. The basic rails provide a great deal of room for the flexible attachment of various workpiece shapes and sizes on very little space.

Increasing productivity

The CleverClamp workpiece tooling system can be universally automated. The proportion of productive machine hours can be increased to a distinct extent. Marginal and night hours can be put to simple use. The workpieces to be machined are palletized with CleverClamp and deposited in the magazine of the EROWA Robot. The EWIS™ ensures an overview of magazine positions and pallets, and the EROWA process control systems controls the sequence in which the scheduled jobs are completed.
