For example, workpieces are set up and prepared at the correct ergonomic height – that is user-friendly ... and while the robot is working – that is efficient use of time.

In addition, the accessibility has been significantly improved. Firstly by the possibility to load the magazines using an elevator or ceiling crane directly to the magazine position, and secondly by the new pass-through, an ingenious solution to magazine loading with electrode holders, which now can be comfortably changed from the operator side.

Each magazine level is equipped with integrated grip positions and drawers by which they can be easily and quickly released. The design has been modernized, and any interfering or unnecessary elements have been removed from the chassis of the robot. For example, the door handle is now arranged in a recess, and the release request is made by an illuminated button.

Another highlight of the new Robot Compact 80 is its increased transfer weight from max. 30 to 80 kg! It is also now possible to transport EROWA UPC 320 mm workpiece carrier pallets.

In addition to the "standard" equipment, further features are of course available as options, such as the integration of an AirDock system and/or a shifting unit. The Robot Compact 80 can also be configured for 2-machine operation. The final market launch is scheduled for the beginning of 2015.
