AIRPARK F900: The Heavy-Duty Ductile Iron Manhole Cover Designed for Extreme Load Conditions

The AIRPARK F900 inspection manhole cover is a robust and high-performance solution made of ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7, compliant with EN 1563:2018 and EN 124:2015 standards. It offers an exceptional load capacity of over 900 kN (90 tons), meeting the highest F900 load class requirements for heavy-duty applications.

Frame

The frame is square-shaped with a circular internal passage, designed to ensure perfect alignment and stability. An elastomer gasket placed inside a dedicated groove enhances sealing, eliminates rocking and noise, and increases durability.
The external surface features a flanged and cellular structure, improving adhesion to cement mortar and allowing the installation of anchoring systems.

Cover

The circular cover is hinged to the frame with a maximum opening angle of 110°. At 90°, it locks automatically into the safety position, ensuring secure handling and easy access.
Thanks to self-centring guides and double support points on rectified contact surfaces, the cover maintains perfect stability during opening and closing.
The automatic elastic locking bar system provides smooth and safe operation without the need for disassembly.

Watertight System

In the MUS series, the cover is secured by three stainless steel bolts (Ø12 mm), guaranteeing watertight closure. The elastomer gasket ensures total sealing against water infiltration and environmental agents.

Surface and Safety Features

The top surface is non-slip and shaped to enable complete water drainage, preventing the accumulation of water or ice even under harsh weather conditions.
