TELE D400 – Modular Ductile Iron Manhole Cover for Heavy-Duty Applications

The TELE D400 modular inspection manhole cover is made of ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7, conforming to EN 1563:2018 and EN 124:2015 for load class D400 (up to 400 kN / 40 tons). It provides outstanding mechanical strength, precision coupling, and long-term performance under heavy traffic and demanding environments.
The frame is made in a single casting for maximum stability and dimensional accuracy. Its one-side opening system offers free access on three sides, facilitating inspection and maintenance operations. The metal-to-metal contact between frame and cover ensures solid positioning without gaskets, while the ribbed external structure improves cement adhesion and anchoring.
Each rectangular cover features a hinged system with a 110° maximum opening angle and automatic safety lock at 90°. It includes a stainless steel locking system operated with a special key, allowing partial and sequential opening. Four concealed stainless steel screws (Ø 12 mm) ensure secure fixing and alignment. The anti-slip surface enables complete water drainage and prevents ice formation.
