Texture Test of Sausage (Manual Testing Method)

Manual food texture test only using a force gauge.

Crunchiness of some juicy foods such a sausage or crispiness of confectionaries can be compared by the peak value of measurements which is usually recorded when the force gauge cut into the sample. The measured force values are affected on the angle at which a force gauge cut samples. Thus, DSV series force gauge helps testers to stabilize the test angles by its Tilt sensing alarm function which beeps when the force gauge is not positioned properly, so that this handy manual measurement can acquire data accurate enough to compare in various circumstances.
