Imanpack expands its flow-wrapping portfolio with an intermittent solution specifically developed for pastry bag rolls and similar rewindable products, where control, material optimisation, and seal quality are key requirements.
At the core of the solution is the Micropack PRO Intermittent flow-pack machine, engineered to manage delicate and flexible products with maximum stability. The dedicated infeed conveyor, equipped with rotating rollers, allows a controlled and uniform product rewind, ensuring smooth transfer into the wrapping section and reducing the risk of misalignment.
A major advantage of this system is the no product – no bag function. Using a photocell-based detection system, film feeding is activated only when a product is present. This intelligent feature prevents empty packs, lowers film consumption, and contributes to a more sustainable and cost-efficient packaging process.
The machine is fitted with a transverse sealing unit optimised for polyethylene film, delivering strong, reliable seals even at consistent production speeds. An integrated euro slot punching system prepares the packaged rolls for hanging display, making the solution particularly suitable for retail distribution.
