Decarbonizing packaging manufacturing: Imanpack transitions to 100% renewable energy

In response to increasing ESG requirements and supply chain decarbonization targets, Imanpack has implemented a structured energy transition plan across its production facilities.

Industrial packaging equipment manufacturing is energy-intensive, particularly in processes involving:
- precision machining
- assembly lines for automated systems
- testing and validation of high-speed machinery

The challenge was to reduce Scope 2 emissions without impacting production efficiency or system performance.

As of April 1st, Imanpack has switched to 100% renewable electricity supplied by Alperia.
The transition ensures:
- certified renewable energy sourcing
- continuity of energy supply for high-performance production cycles
- alignment with European energy transition frameworks

The energy shift has been integrated without disruption to:
- flow wrapping machine production
- cartoning and end-of-line systems assembly
- high-speed counting and weighing solutions

Reduction of indirect (Scope 2) emissions
- Improved sustainability profile for OEM customers
- Contribution to lower carbon footprint across the packaging value chain

For international partners, this translates into:
- compliance with sustainability procurement criteria
- enhanced ESG reporting alignment
- measurable contribution to corporate decarbonization goals

By integrating renewable energy into its manufacturing backbone, Imanpack strengthens its positioning as a technology partner capable of combining automation performance with responsible production models.
