INGESCO recognized at the Global Hydrometeorological Excellence Awards 2025

INGESCO has been recognized at the Global Hydrometeorological Excellence Awards 2025 in Vienna with a Highly Recommended mention for its innovation in lightning detection and early warning systems.

On the night of October 13th, the Global Hydrometeorological Excellence Awards ceremony took place in Vienna. This international event, organized by Varysian, brought together for the first time global leaders, public and private institutions, and innovative companies from the fields of meteorology, hydrology, and climate services.

These awards were created to recognize the world’s most influential organizations for their contribution to the development of solutions, technologies, and services that improve the prediction, detection, and management of meteorological risks. In this first edition, INGESCO had the honor of being nominated in the category “Outstanding Lightning Detection and Early Warning Solutions”, alongside six other leading international companies in the sector.

During the ceremony, we received the special mention “Highly Recommended”, a recognition that fills us with pride and motivates us to continue striving for excellence in lightning risk prevention. This achievement reaffirms our dedication to research, innovation, and technological development, and strengthens our commitment to continue designing solutions that protect people, infrastructures, and environments from atmospheric electrical phenomena.
