Introduction to Large Current Ethernet Signal Integrated Slip Rings

With the rapid development of electromechanical integration technology, Ethernet signals have found extensive applications in various fields, especially in automation.

As a leading manufacturer in the slip ring industry, JINPAT started developing customized Ethernet signal slip rings as early as 2005. Among them, the highest production volume at JINPAT is the capsule series monitoring equipment slip rings, which utilize commonly used plastic terminal connectors in electronic products to reduce costs instead of RJ connectors.

In most cases, Ethernet signal paths in slip rings do not require external RJ or industrial-grade connectors, and this is particularly common in the field of large current Ethernet signal integrated slip rings. Due to the relatively lower production volume of large current slip rings, JINPAT's integrated large current Ethernet signal slip rings are even more scarce. JINPAT has developed dozens of large current Ethernet signal integrated slip ring models. Recently, they responded to customer demands and developed the largest number of Ethernet signal paths ever integrated into a large current Ethernet slip ring, the LPA000-04100-0820-0408-07E3.

This slip ring's power loop integrates 4 channels of 100A, 8 channels of 20A, and 4 channels of 8A current pathways. Among them, the 4 channels of 100A use a carbon brush structure as a separate module. The remaining 12 channels of current pathways and Ethernet signal paths are integrated within the hollow shaft slip ring, forming another module. This large current integrated slip ring accommodates up to 7 Ethernet signal paths, which is relatively rare even in small-sized products. As of now, the maximum number of Ethernet paths integrated into JINPAT's Ethernet signal slip rings is only 9. The development of this large current slip ring signifies a significant advancement in JINPAT's multi-channel Ethernet signal integration technology.

Regarding the JINPAT LPA000-04100-0820-0408-07E3 large current integrated slip ring, it deviates from the conventional practice of using external wires or junction boxes commonly seen in large current slip rings and instead employs aviation plug connections. Besides this integrated slip ring, as an experienced slip ring manufacturer, JINPAT offers various products that integrate large current and Ethernet signal pathways. For example, the LPA000-03100-01PE-0220-1002-02E3-03E2-04S-01A represents a multi-module integrated large current slip ring, including 2 channels of Gigabit Ethernet and 3 channels of Fast Ethernet. Additionally, it features an extra gas-liquid module, although it only includes 1 gas pathway.
