For over thirty years, KMSYSTEM has been dedicated to the design and manufacture in France of digital preshaping machines for surfboard machining. These machines, designed for professional shapers and industrial workshops alike, stand out for their precision, reliability and adaptability.
Our machines incorporate advanced technologies. They are equipped with AC brushless motors with optical encoders, enabling maximum speeds of 40,000 mm/min, with repeatability and resolution of less than 1/60° mm. The frame, made of ultra-rigid black-anodized aluminum sections measuring 130x105 mm, is entirely designed and manufactured in France, guaranteeing outstanding structural reliability. The guidance system is based on steel-coated belts and a monorail linear guide with ball-bearing runners, all protected against dust for long service life.
KMSHAPE software, developed in-house, ensures compatibility with Gcode files as well as CAD/CAM software such as SHAPE3D. Its intuitive interface, enhanced by regular updates, also allows customization of functionalities according to users' specific needs.
The numerical control we designed in-house enables real-time control of the machine's axes. It offers great flexibility by managing up to six axes simultaneously, while ensuring constant precision in all machining phases.
Our machines are available in a wide range of dimensions, capable of machining boards from 7' (approx. 1500 mm) to 18' (approx. 6000 mm). Working strokes are up to 6000 mm on the X axis, 2500 mm on the Y axis and 600 mm on the Z axis. Two configurations are available: a three-axis version for minimum footprint and optimum precision, and a four-axis version, ideal for machining complex shapes, including rail and bridge production in a single operation.
Among the options available, we offer a hot wire, which makes it easy to cut profiles from large foam blocks, whether inside or outside the chassis.
