Installed on our CNC cutting tables, the oscillating knife ensures precise, clean, and fast cutting of soft, semi-rigid, or technical foams. This technology is widely used across industries such as automotive, aerospace, insulation, packaging, and furniture manufacturing.
The oscillating knife operates using high-frequency mechanical motion, slicing through materials without crushing or deforming them. This ensures the foam's physical properties are preserved — even on sensitive materials like polyethylene (PE), polyurethane (PU), acoustic foams, or multilayer technical foams.
To meet various application needs, several blade types are available:
- Straight blades for simple, linear cuts
- Serrated blades for dense or closed-cell foams
