centering-, closing- and grasping- movements with the gearbox lifgo® double

Within the lifgo® 5 series LEANTECHIK AG offers a variety of durable and resistant linear gear rack lift drives that are available in various versions. Each version is suitable for special applications. The variant lifgo® double e.g. is especially suitable for centering-, closing- and grasping movements.

Our linear gear rack lift drives are suitable for applications that require a big stroke force, but at the same time reach high lifting speeds and work perfectly synchronous. Every gearbox is equipped with a 4-way-roller guided rack, which enables the gearboxes to absorb a high shear force. By putting together two guide-blocks the standard lifgo® gearbox can be transformed into the lifgo® double. With two in opposite directions moving racks the lifgo® double is a perfect component for synchronous centering-, closing- and grasping movements.

The gearbox is available in three different sizes 5.0, 5.1 and 5.3. It also operates within several partial and fully functional systems that are manufactured by LEANTECHNIK.

Depending on overall size lifgo® double reaches a stroke force from 2.000 N up to 25.000 N at a lifting speed of 3 m/s. Even at these enormous loads the gearboxes work precise and allow to position with an accuracy of -/+ 0,01 mm.

A servo-, pneumatic-, hydraulic- or three-phase current drive can be used as a drive for the gearboxes. The pinion inside the rack transfers the power to the two parallel moving racks. Depending on the application either the rack or the gearbox can be fixed. When the gearbox is fixed the racks move freely and even extremely long strokes can be realized. Like that the lifgo® double can also be used as lifgo® linear double for long strokes in opposite directions.

Our lifgo®-portal system is just one example for various applications. The complex combination of palletizer and loading system with a three-axis gripper arm and a two-axis palletizer contains a lifgo® double gearbox which helps to grab and position the pallets on a conveyor belt. Another example of the application area, which was invented for one of our customers, is within a system that helps to unload and position parts of truck trailers, which have to be transported after being varnished. As the two examples show the multifunctional gearboxes work reliable and precise with various weights.
