Rather than undertake a costly full‑cable replacement, the engineers at Lovink Enertech B.V. implemented their LoviSil® oil‑refill joint—a solution that reconnects a dried‑out PILC cable to an oil reservoir system while bridging it to a newer XLPE cable section (1×3 150 mm² PILC to 3×1 240 mm² XLPE).
