Lymco RAL-20MP Vertical Turning Center Upgrades

Building Power and Capacity, While Keeping it Cool and Stable

The RAL-20M was one of LYMCO’s popular RAL vertical turning centers. It has now been upgraded to RAL-20MP. The new model comes with dual table bearing design with thrust cylindrical roller bearing plus tapered roller bearings to maintain the table stability during high torque or high-speed cutting.

The renewed cooling system are equipped with smart temperature and flow sensors to monitor and maintain thermal balance on the key components. As a result, the table thermal stability could be contained at +-2 degree within the room temperature regardless of the length of operation.

Other user friendly designs such as chip management are strengthen via a completely redesigned chip evacuation system and filtration system to effectively protect table core from chip contamination even at the toughest environment.

RAL-20MP could handle parts as heavy as 13,000 kg (28660lb), with a table diameter of 2000mm (78.7”), maximum cutting diameter of 2400mm (94.5”), and a max. turning height of 1600mm (63”). The table turns up to 200 RPM, and the live spindle was equipped with Baruffaldi gear box at the top speed of 2,250 RPM.
