Introducing the all-new ZENTRUM-200Q Horizontal Boring & Milling Machine

With the ZENTRUM-200Q, we hope that mold makers find it a little easier and faster to mill through deep pockets, and part maker makes good use of the power and stability provided by the machine.

Taipei, Taiwan, March 19, 2020

LYMCO Team is pleased to announce the all-new ZENTRUM-200Q horizontal boring & milling machine.

Below are the most significant features of the machine:

1. Big size ø200mm quill provides maximum stability and minimum vibration when fully extended at 400mm quill stroke

If the customer has heavy milling needs deep inside a female mold part, the quill would give immense milling capacity.

The same condition applies to boring any part within the envelop. The stability is not in the same class as general 110/135mm quills.

2. Many parts, big and small could now be fixed at the center of the table with the most stable set up because of flexible spindle reach.

When cutting parts on a horizontal machine, customers could fix the workpiece close to the center of the table, thus avoiding work-holding at the edge which affects stability.

When the customer needs to reach deeper into a workpiece, the combined Z and W axis stroke of the machine provide a comfortable reach, on top of the confidence provided by the massive 200mm quill.

The rotary table, upon indexed, are clamped down by four independent breaks positions evenly around the table as well as a locking pin for every 90 degrees.

With the ZENTRUM-200Q, we hope that mold makers find it a little easier and faster to mill through deep pockets, and part maker makes good use of the power and stability provided by the machine.

For production, we also offer a palletized workpiece exchange system, so that the machine could spend most of the time cutting parts instead of preparing.
