Custom squirrel cage motors according to specifications

For a Turkish cement plant Menzel Elektromotoren has undertaken complete manufacture, testing and technical integration support of three motors. Process adjustments required a higher performance squirrel cage motor for the VFD-controlled fan – 3,500 kW instead of the previous 2,300 kW. In addition to this new motor, the customer ordered a second, mechanically and electrically compatible motor for the same process as a standby spare motor. Menzel delivered two identical 6-pole motors with a performance of 3,500 k W, 6000 V rated voltage and a speed of 995 min-1 each.
