Neousys Launches Flattop-Heatsink Compact Fanless Computer with Intel® 13th-Gen Core i Processor

Neousys Technology, an industry-leading provider of rugged embedded systems, announced their latest compact fanless computer with a flattop heatsink, and based on Intel® 13th/ 12th-Gen Core™ i processors, the Nuvo-9531-FT series. It is a rugged fanless computer that combines compact size with superior performance, ideal for fitting into space-restricted cabinets by leveraging direct contact with the cabinet to conduct heat to the surface for thermal dissipation.

Nuvo-9531-FT introduces a novel heat dissipation design concept that strategically conducts heat to the surface of the cabinet. The flattop-heatsink design contributes to smaller dimensions, requiring less installation space. In addition, heat is effectively conducted out onto the surface by attaching to the cabinet walls for dissipation. These designs allow Nuvo-9531-FT to effortlessly fit into confined cabinet spaces while fully utilizing the cabinet's wall to optimize thermal dissipation efficiency.

Despite its compact size, Nuvo-9531-FT boasts powerful computing performance and is equipped with a range of I/Os commonly employed in industrial applications. Featuring Intel® 13th / 12th Gen processors up to 24 cores/ 32 threads, it delivers up to 2x the performance compared to previous Intel 10th or 11th Gen platforms. Additionally, it supports four 2.5GbE with optional PoE+, 4x USB3.2 Gen 1 with screw-lock, 4-CH isolated DI, and 4-CH isolated DO, as well as VGA & DP dual display outputs.

For storage and expansion, it includes a Gen4 x4 M.2 NVMe slot for high-speed SSDs and a hot-swappable HDD tray. Users can add wireless communication modules via two mPCIe and one M.2 E key slot. Its rugged design ensures reliable operation in harsh environments, with fanless -25°C to 60°C operation and wide-range 8V to 48V DC input, it suitable for various automation applications.
