New in linear technology - norelem expands its range of positioning systems
Precise alignment of workpieces: positioning systems from norelem make it possible. From rotary stages, counter bearings, adapter plates, vertical stages to pivot heads
norelem has introduced many electric and mechanical components, either as new or new varieties into its product portfolio.
The electric positioning stages are versatile linear systems that are ideal as drive and positioning modules. The almost play-free guidance enables components, limit switches, sensors, grippers and stops to be positioned accurately to within a hundredth of a millimetre in e.g. tool or handling systems.
New addition to the positioning rotary stage family
The positioning rotary stage with electric drive range has been expanded with a high load version. The new rotary stages can be loaded with forces of up to 12,000 N. High tilting torques can be absorbed thanks to a cross-roller bearing that serves as a fixed bearing. The new positioning stages are available with three different gear ratios (20:1, 40:1 and 48:1) and in three versions: without motor and controller, with motor and without controller, and with motor and controller.
Also new to the range Rotary positioning stages with toothed belt drive. In contrast to worm-driven positioning stages, these stages achieve a fast and dynamic turntable rotation. Thanks to their angular design and versatile mounting options, they can be easily integrated into the machine design. They are available with a gear ratio of 2:1, without a motor and controller, with a motor and with a motor and controller, and can be loaded with up to 5000 N.
Larger selection of mechanical positioning systems
The programme of mechanical positioning systems has been expanded to include maintenance-free counter bearings for rotary positioning stages . They can be combined with various positioning rotary stages to support long structures that are to be rotationally positioned. Their rotary tables compensate for axial and angular errors. Adapter plates for positioning systems are also available. They can be used to connect different sized positioning systems.
Other new products
The selection of vertical stages is expanded with a vertical stage with mechanical position indicator. Vertical stages are used for height positioning of components and assemblies for e.g stops, sensors, tables and cameras. The modular design of vertical stages permits their combination with positioning stages, cross stages and other accessories. Furthermore, the pivot head range has been expanded with a Form B which has a grip screw and clamping lever. This quick-release clamp set enables the pivot head to be operated without tools.
