The basis: EHEDG-compliant sealing and shim washers
Hygienic Usit® sealing and shim washers form the basis of the product range. The combination of a metal flat washer and a firmly attached EPDM or Fluoroprene® gasket ensures a perfect, gap-free seal. Even after repeated tightening and loosening, the sealing characteristics remain constant.

A special advantage: The tight seal allows for easy cleaning without having to loosen the screwed connections.

This system is ideal for applications involving high steam sterilization temperatures, demanding cleaning processes, or processing media containing fat. Complete Hygienic Design Range
In addition to sealing and shim washers, norelem offers a comprehensive range of stainless steel components that comply with hygienic design guidelines and can be combined with each other:
• Hexagon bolts and cap nuts (also available as a kit with sealing and shim washers)
• T-handles with external or internal thread
• Indexing plungers with hygienic tapered collar
• Wing screws and wing nuts
• Mushroom knobs and indexing levers (wrong link) with external or internal thread
