PCH Cloud now integrates with edge computers
PCH Engineering has launched an edge computing configuration for their real-time condition monitoring solution, PCH Cloud.
The PCH Cloud IoT condition monitoring solution can now be configured for integration with edge computers, enabling OEMs and service providers to easily integrate vibration and process data in their offering.
INCREASED IT SECURITY AND TIMELY MAINTENANCE
IT security is becoming a high priority in manufacturing. The PCH Cloud edge configuration enables manufacturers, OEMs and service providers to store vibration data on a local server rather than in the cloud and to process data closer to where the insights are needed.
By offering edge computing as an OEM or service provider, you enable your clients to use digital twins in their predictive maintenance strategy and make timely, well-informed maintenance decisions based on the actual condition of their machinery.
THE PCH ETHERBRIDGE IOT AS AN EDGE DEVICE
The cornerstone of the PCH Cloud solution is the IoT-compatible communication module, PCH EtherBridge IoT. The PCH EtherBridge IoT enables OEMs and service providers to integrate with a wide range of IIoT edge computers and ensures a reliable and efficient communication pathway.
As an edge device, the PCH EtherBridge collects vibration, temperature and pressure data from PCH sensors and monitors and transfers it to a designated folder on your edge computer for easy remote or local access.
The solution supports most major industrial operating systems and provides you with FFT and Time Waveform data as well as scalar values.
