Bolt Inspection of Yumenkou Yellow River Bridge
Another exciting news of our monitoring system installation to monitor the Yumenkou Yellow River Bridge!
In May 2024, the RAEM1 acoustic emission monitoring system produced by QAWRUMS were successfully installed in the Yumenkou Yellow River Bridge in Hancheng, Shaanxi Province, to conduct real-time monitoring of the status of the bridge's bolts and safeguard the health of the bridge.
RAEM1 acoustic emission monitoring system can monitor the loosening and breaking of bridge bolts in real time, and issue an alarm at the budding stage of bridge structure danger, which can avoid the occurrence of catastrophic safety accidents of the entire bridge or part of it. It also provides an important basis for bridge maintenance.
There were 10 bolt inspection points in 5 sections of the bridge (Sections 3, 5, 9, 13, 15).
