Pretreatment technology for wastewater and sewage sludge

The collection and treatment of waste water and sewage sludge have required enormous investments in recent decades in terms of technological investments to increase the efficiency of the plants. However, the quality status of water bodies is still low from an ecological, sanitary and chemical point of view. In addition, new challenges are facing the wastewater treatment sector, such as: climate change, poor resource efficiency and the advancement of increasingly stringent regulations to improve the protection of the environment and human health.
