Stauff Line: from components to systems

Responsibility from connection to connection

Stauff, globally renowned as a manufacturer of pipework equipment and fluid power components, will be launching a new concept at the 2017 Hanover Fair: “Stauff Line” is the umbrella brand for all services that Stauff Group companies offer in connection with hydraulic lines.

The portfolio ranges from the analysis and optimisation of existing or the design of new systems to the supply of all components or customised units directly to the customers’ assembly or production lines.

Procurement of assemblies, including manipulated tube and pre-assembled hydraulic hose, offers a number of benefits to original equipment manufacturers, such as reducing procurement costs, stock levels, installation times and the risk of assembly errors.

Using specially designed load carriers significantly lowers the risk of confusing components, thereby increasing the reliability of installations. “On request, we are able to optimise our customers’ entire system and assume responsibility from one connection to the other,” explains Jörg Deutz, CEO of Stauff Group. “Stauff Line is the result of our integrated approach: after evolving in recent years to become a complete provider of all components for hydraulic lines, we are now taking the next step to becoming a system supplier.”

The basis for this is the comprehensive range of pipework equipment and fluid power components for use in mobile and stationary hydraulic systems, which we have successively expanded in recent years.

Most recently, we have systematically expanded our own product range from in-house production with the launch of the Stauff Connect range of tube connectors and the acquisition of Voswinkel GmbH in 2015. Voswinkel is considered to be one of the world's largest manufacturers of quick release couplings for hydraulic systems and also develops and produces a comprehensive range of hose connectors.

“We don’t just offer our own in-house developed and produced individual components, but also coordinate them to perfectly match each other,” continues Jörg Deutz. All products share the same high and uniform quality of manufacturing, which also includes a high-grade zinc-nickel surface coating as standard for a large part of the range.

Additional Voswinkel quick release couplings and selected Stauff ball valves will be showcased at the Hanover Fair for the first time featuring this corrosion protection that goes well beyond industry standards.

With its own subsidiaries in around 20 countries and authorised system and distribution partners in almost all industrial regions, the Stauff Group is well positioned internationally and able to meet and exceed the growing requirements from globally operating original equipment manufacturers for assemblies and systems.
