One innovative feature of this technology is that chain bushes extend beyond the inner link plates to minimize the clearance between the outer plates and the bushes. This in turn creates a solid barrier that prevents abrasive material from penetrating between pins and bushes.

Another is the seal itself. Made of a high temperature engineered polymer, this seal surrounds the extended bushes and provides an additional barrier to help protect the pin-bush area and minimize contamination.

Finally, the patented internal ring seal that holds tight onto the pin and rotates within a groove in the bush creates labyrinth that helps prevent debris from penetrating the pin-bush area.
