Advanced Corrosion and Wear Resistance

In 2017, Tsubaki launched its new advanced line-up large size conveyor chains to offer increased performance and functionality over its previous line-up of basic models. One of those advanced models was the GSA Series, a corrosion resistant large size conveyor chain to replace the previous GS Series.

Tsubaki’s GSA Series offers 50% better pin-bush wear performance (giving you a longer chain wear life), twice the bush-roller wear performance, and a 30% higher maximum allowable load over the GS Series. GSA Series is ideal for applications where GS Series is reaching its service life due to mechanical wear (such as on industrial waste conveyors) and on equipment where wear debris from the chain needs to be avoided as much as possible (such as on refined sugar bucket elevators). GSA Series can also cover up to 70% of AT Series maximum allowable load, so there are situations where it’s effective as a corrosion-resistant AT Series replacement. (Operating temperature range: -20°C to 200°C.)

You’ll find GSA Series hard at work on outdoor conveyors and conveying coal, coal dust, and other highly abrasive material in the cement industry, conveying fuel in biomass power generation facilities, and other applications where corrosion, cold, and chemical resistance are required.
