Introducing Tsubaki’s new NER Series Echt-Flex disc coupling

Tsubaki’s Echt-Flex couplings are non-backlash, lube-free couplings with high torsional stiffness to maximize the benefit of servomotors. The NER Series Echt-Flex coupling uses a newly developed disc and optimized bolts to provide higher capacity with improved handleability in a compact unit. Tsubaki’s original center unit structure also dramatically reduces mounting time.

This structure consists of two pairs of discs (leaf springs) with a space and flanges on both sides. After centering, just fix the hubs and center units using a small torque wrench – couplings can be mounted in about half the time.
