Introduction Tsubaki G8 Series Lambda Chain

Twice the wear life of the previous series, uses NSF-H1 food grade lube

Introducing Tsubaki G8 Series Lambda Chain

Tsubaki’s RS Lambda Chain, the world’s first sintered bush roller chain, launched in 1988. Since then, we have made various improvements to the chain to make it the world’s top class lube-free roller chain.

Based on the concept of “one hundred years of fundamental technology,” Tsubaki has upgraded its entire line-up of drive chains, including Lambda lube-free chains, to launch as our new G8 Series Lambda Chain.

With G8 Lambda Chain, we went back and reviewed our sintering material and density, as well as the oil we used. We also began manufacturing the sintered bushes in-house with a streamlined production line to stabilize quality and increase chain performance. G8 Lambda Chain now uses NSF-H1 food grade oil in its sintered bushes for use in and around food manufacturing equipment. The culmination of these upgrades has also doubled the wear life of G8 Series Lambda Chain over the previous G7 Series (30% longer wear life for BS Lambda Chain).

Thanks to its lube-free nature, Lambda Chain helps reduce user maintenance times, maintain a clean work environment, increase equipment reliability, and reduce total cost of chain ownership. In applications where lubrication is difficult or impossible, Tsubaki G8 Series Lambda is the chain of choice.

You’ll find Lambda Chain used when the chain is in direct contact with the product, such as in cement plants or sawmills where fine dust and contamination can cause serious problems on the chain. These particles can stick to standard lubricated chain, clogging the chain and sprockets and resulting in articulation problems and eventual derailment.

When long life, reduced downtime and higher productivity are required, trust Tsubaki G8 Series Lambda Chain. Also available in Long Life Lambda (X-Lambda), High Temperature (KF-Series), and Surface Treated Series to meet your application needs.
