UMAG recently assisted customers in developing magnetic wheels for magnetic wall climbing robots..

The robot can climb vertical smooth surfaces without gripping points and supporting points. It is mainly used to inspect and clean large machines that are difficult to inspect, such as dams, wind turbines, and submarines. It can be squeezed into small spaces, and large areas can be inspected and cleaned.

The robots are controlled remotely, and workers use video cameras and a video gamepad to operate them. There are multiple cameras and sensors on it, as well as cleaning systems such as abrasion and sandblasting, and painting systems. For example, it can climb on the blades of wind turbines to clean, clean the inner walls of reservoirs, clean the bilges of ships and submarines, or inspect concrete dams and nuclear power plants.
