NEW VERNET BEHRINGER 8-AXIS RD-X PLASMA COPING ROBOT
Vernet Behringer complements its range of processing line for steel fabricators with its new 8 axis RD-X plasma coping robot.
This innovative machine can notch H-beams, channels, angles, flat bars and square and rectangular tubes, with 1200 x 600 mm maximum capacity.
The RD-X has been especially designed to cope with even more complex design of steel structures, and the strict requirements in terms of precision and quality.
“One of the main challenges has been to interpolate the 6 axes of the Franco-Suisse Staübli industrial robot with 2 additional linear axes, considerably increasing the coping possibilities” says Vincent Leclerc, Project manager at Vernet Behringer.
Thank to this flexibility, the RD-X can achieve precise cuts on all 4 faces in square tubes and various notching shapes in H-beams at high processing speed, with easy operation, thanks to our user friendly programming software.
