On November 28-29, 2023, with the grand opening of the "2023 China Laser Star Enterprise Summit and Advanced Laser Processing Technology Summit Forum" in the Optics Valley of Wuhan, Yangtze Optical Electronic Co., Ltd. On the morning of November 28, at the High-end Laser and Core Device Technology Forum, Dr. Lian Zhenggang, Technical Director of Yangtze Optical Electronic Co., Ltd., was invited to give a speech on the topic "Research and Application Technology of Special Fiber for Energy Transmission." He detailed the development of YOEC's large-diameter, special-shaped structure, high-power laser mode homogenization optical fiber. This unique transmission optical fiber exhibits outstanding performance in high-power laser transmission, homogenization, processing, imaging, spectroscopy, and other fields. Its structure includes a special-shaped high-purity synthetic quartz core layer, fluorine-doped quartz cladding, and a circular high-purity synthetic quartz outer cladding with coatings. This technology not only significantly improves the coupling efficiency with semiconductor lasers but also has excellent beam homogenization and shaping functions, making it highly advantageous in laser cleaning and laser beam shaping.
