One-stop shop: Cartridge valves, IR-Sensors and other accessories for electronic faucets

The valve manufacturer A. u. K. Müller completes its range of cartridge valves and sensor systems for touchless faucets by a flush mounted power supply and a cable with protection type IP 68.

Flush mounted power supply and cable with integrated energy storage

The flush mounted power supply is designed specifically for use in multi-user applications. It enables the supply of up to five sensor / valve units simultaneously.

In addition, a cable with integrated energy storage is offered. In the event of a power failure an implemented voltage monitoring within the sensor detects the voltage drop and triggers a last closing pulse to the valve, powered by the energy storage. Costs due to on-going water flow or even expensive water damage are effectively avoided. In addition, the flush mounted power supply is protected against short circuits.

Cable, protection type IP 68

To hook-up the cartridge valves and sensor systems control cables for the connection of electronic components, i.e. valve, sensor and power supply are offered. The connector plug and socket bear the advantage of a rotation and reverse polarity protection. This is achieved by a visible and tactile guide contour in the form of a joint labelling and flattening at the plug and socket. Thus, the plug-in connection can be carried out intuitively even in areas difficult to access. The connectors comply with protection type IP 68 according to DIN EN 60529: 2014-09.
