Under 5 mbar the water flashes to vapour and dissolved gases break out; a condenser traps the vapour while a rotary pump ejects the gas. Finally a one-micron polish filter grabs the last soot. The treated oil leaves with moisture below 5 ppm, gas content under 0.1 % and breakdown strength above 70 kV.
