For fast and precise handling

Furtwangen, 10.04.2015 – With euroLINE series, IEF-Werner has direct drives in the product portfolio that operate extremely fast and precise. As the units integrate a linear motor, a position sensor and a guide, the user receives a pre-finished system that requires only little effort on construction and assembly. Even several independent slides can be attached on one guide and thus space-saving systems can be designed. With different slide variants and stroke sizes the user is able to use this type for various tasks.

If there are high requirements regarding compactness, dynamic, speed as well as positioning and repeat accuracy, direct drives clearly show their advantages. They are mainly used in the handling and assembly technology as well as in the semiconductor and electronics production. Due to the high accuracies they are also frequently used for measuring and testing tasks. With the euroLINE series IEF-Werner has diverse versions in the product range that are suitable for dynamic and highly precise applications.

Version euroLINE 32 KLA is equipped with an ironless linear motor and an optical, incremental position sensor. Due to its high response characteristic it is suitable for fast movements and thereby runs extremely quiet. The speed is up to five metres per second, the repeat accuracy ± 0.003 millimetres. The peak force of this unit is 132 Newton. Strokes of up to 1,662 millimetres are available. It is also offered as vertically driven version with a stroke of up to 189 millimetres.

The euroLINE 120 and 170 types are equipped with an iron-core linear motor and an optical absolute value measuring system. Thus a referencing is not necessary - the system is ready for use immediately after switching on. Due to the higher feed forces – with peak forces of up to 800 Newton - they are also suitable for higher loads. By the use of guide carriages with ball chain and attachment lubrication elements a mileage of 10,000 kilometres without relubrication can be achieved. The electric connection is realised by a swivelling quick connect system. euroLINE 120 standard has a stroke of up to 3,714 millimetres, the repeat accuracy is ± 0.005 millimetres and the speed up to five metres per second. It can also be equipped with a long slide. The stroke of this version is up to 3,616 millimetres. euroLINE 170 is also available as standard version as well as with long slide.
