Toothed belt axis module 115/25: for high loads and great strokes

No support necessary

IEF-Werner now offers the module 115/25: a new toothed belt axis which does not require an additional support construction, even under high loads and great strokes. This does not only facilitate the assembly: but because no additional components are necessary, the user is able to reduce his costs significantly. The properties of the toothed belt axis make it ideally suited for the loading handling of tool machines or the handling of euro pallets.

Furtwangen, the 06.06.2016. The new module is able to realise strokes up to 6.550 millimetres. The linear module is available in stroke gradations of 60 millimetres. The slide has a length of 300 and a width of 115 millimetres. The guiding rail is installed in the construction size 25. The maximum traversing speed is five metres per second, the repeat accuracy accounts ±0,05 millimetres. It can pick up a maximum load of 150 kilograms. Optionally IEF can equip the system with integrated, inductive limit switches. The basic body is characterized by a high bending and torsion stiffness. With this, constructors are able to realise great ranges – which is especially a great advantage when constructing gantry systems. And even with high loads and great strokes no support constructions are necessary. Users significantly save costs and can build up the system faster than comparable solutions.

Engines may be attached to the module 115/25 in eight different variants – six possibilities with shafting and two with a direct motor attachment via planet gear. The toothed belt axes of IEF may be realised as parallel drive with two mechanically synchronized axes – for example centrally via bevel gear. Using a bevel gear is especially appropriate when great distances between the axes occur.

The new module 115/25 is employed for example in special machine construction. It is particularly suited for commissioning of euro pallets. Another possible task for the module is the loading of tool machines.
