However, what makes the biggest difference is quality rather than quantity. The new IRis DVRx-WC recently announced by Medit Inc. is all about taking qualitative steps forward. The super durable tungsten braided 2m (6.6') and 3m (9.9') probes feature an 1.8mm working channel for an optional retrieval kit. The kit turns the borescope into a versatile interactive tool capable not only of a visual inspection, but also of light repair functions. The retrieval kit includes a magnet (lifts objects up to 0.9 kilos or 2 lbs.) alligator jaws for grasping, and a reference tool for measurement which uses a comparative (scalar) measurement function built into the videoscopes.
The IRis DVRx-WC features a color CMOS camera chip, a large 5'' high resolution display, digital zoom, direct text input through a text overlay generator, adjustable LED illumination, and file storage on an SDHC card.
