Hydraulic staightening press

We just finished making one hydraulic press with movable table which will be used inside a factory that produces industrial compressors.

The customer's requirement was to be able to carry out assemblies on his bulky compressors and for this reason he needed the press to have a distance between the cylinder rod and the work surface of 1400mm and that the cylinder stroke should not be less to 1000mm.

The PBM 200 electro-hydraulic press is the most suitable model for this type of industrial applications, as it allows you to have a sliding work surface on which the piece to be worked can be loaded using a crane, which can be an electric motor or an industrial compressor such as in this case and then slide the work table under the main cylinder.

This hydraulic press with movable table is equipped with various safety systems, which guarantee the safety of the operator. In fact, it has been foreseen that the main cylinder can only descend if the work surface is completely backwards and in contact with the end-of-stroke sensors.

In turn, the sliding table can only move if the cylinder is completely raised and if the protective nets are closed. This last measure in fact prevents the hydraulic press from moving while the compressor is still on the platform and the material from falling while moving the work surface.

This press develops a power of 200 tons and both the movement of the cylinder and the moving table are operated by simultaneously using the lever and the button.
