Speaking of aluminum alloys, everyone is not unfamiliar, and it can be seen everywhere in life; but aluminum enclosure may be heard less often, so what are aluminum alloy case? Today we will talk about it. What's Aluminum alloy Aluminum alloy is an alloy based on aluminum with a certain amount of other alloying elements added. It is one of the light metal materials. In ...
If you’re building a rack mount server, there are SO MANY options… and it can be very difficult to decide which case is right for you. This guide will help you sort through all the choices and make a decision that is going to be right for your needs… and give your budget a much-needed boost. Your aluminum case is one of the most important parts of your server. It protec...
Backlash: The enemy of linear systems Backlash is caused by clearance, or play, between mating parts, which introduces a dead band when the direction of travel is reversed. In the dead band, no movement occurs until the clearance between mating parts is eliminated. Components that typically experience backlash include ball screws, lead screws, belt and pulley systems, ...
Electrical hazards can cause electrification (or electrocution) as well as burns with serious injuries or even amputations. Working on electrical installations exposes you to the risk of an electric arc. The thermal impact of an arc depends not only on the voltage level (LV/HV) but also on the incident electrical energy (cal/cm²). Effective and appropriate personal prote...
The presence of uncontrolled quantities of air in water systems can seriously affect their performance, causing inefficient filling and draining procedures and flow reduction, while increasing energy costs. It also disrupts the operation of some of the system’s components. On the other hand, air is essential in dealing with vacuum conditions and pressure surges. Effecti...
In August of 1933, R.O. Monroe and L.D. Goff, in conjunction with a local mill, designed and built the first rotary joint. It was a device that eliminated the problems associated with stuffing boxes and packing glands and allowed the water or steam to be introduced in a much more economical method
Fiber Collimators of Daheng Optics Facing the ever-increasing market demand, Daheng New Epoch Technology Inc. (“Daheng Optics”) has developed a series of high-precision fiber collimators and fiber couplers of enhanced collimation performance, filling the blank of integrated coupling lenses in earlier days. Here is a brief introduction of the products. GCX-L series tripl...
<< Comprehensive surface topography of both surface flatness and roughness without contact with TopMap from Polytec >> Conventional machining processes generate three main components of surface topography, which are classified according to their causes. The first component is “roughness and irregularities”, that are inherent in production processes, left by machining (e...
Lithium battery, I think we should be more rigorous. It should be called lithium-ion secondary battery. Li is the smallest diameter and most active metal on the element periodic table. If you are not sure, you can look at the periodic table “Lithium hydrogen helium beryllium boron, carbon nitrogen, oxygen, fluorine and neon…”. Because Li has these characteristics, it is ...
In 2017, the Sewage Association Sebnitz in Eastern Germany replaced an old Strate pumping station with modern machine technology. Using the one-stage Egger Turo® Vortex pump type T 61-80 V2 30 m3/h raw sewage at 76 m each. This Egger vortex hydraulic is optimized for solids with fibres and has an 80 mm free passage. This offers a very high operational reliability. The pu...
After strict preview and final review (total five days), Tianan passed the SA8000 system certification on January 4, 2019. So far, the company has succeeded in obtaining another passport to enter European and American countries.
Scientific methods allow us to understand and quantify our perception of visible light and color. Learn the language of light, including visual definitions of luminance, illuminance, luminous intensity, and luminous flux. Understand the anatomy of the CIE chromaticity diagram, including spectral locus, Planckian locus, dominant wavelength, and purity. Derive color values...
The Stratasys J735 and J750 deliver unrivaled aesthetics to your brightest ideas and boldest ambitions with true, full-color capability, texture mapping and color gradients. 3D print prototypes that look, feel and operate like the finished products in multiple materials and colors without sacrificing time for intricacy and complexity. Better communicate designs with vivi...
The Jablonski diagram is widely used in fluorescence spectroscopy to illustrate the excited states of a molecule and the radiative and non-radiative transitions that can occur between them.
Quick introduction on industries dealing with explosive risks. And a cheat sheet on ATEX zones and what equipment to use.
Time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) is a well established and common technique for fluorescence lifetime measurements, it is also becoming increasingly important for photon migration measurements, optical time domain reflectometry measurements and time of flight measurements.
The terms; luminescence, photoluminescence, fluorescence and phosphorescence are routinely used in research papers to describe the emission of light from a sample. In this article we answer the question, “What is the Difference between Luminescence, Photoluminescence, Fluorescence, and Phosphorescence”.
A coil is a heating element attached to the heating unit itself. The heater generates the electric current which flows into the coil. The heating coil transfers the electric energy into heat energy. It may be directly immersed in the medium to heat it up or radiate heat through an open space.
A substance's flash point highly influences your hazardous area classification, while it's ignition temperature determines the temperature class (T-Class) of your equipment. This video shows the flash point of two common liquids: gasoline and diesel. Read the full blog for a technical deep dive:
Who are we? The Sany Group was founded in 1989 as a small welding materials factory. Today, it is the largest construction machinery corporation in China and the fifth largest globally. Two of its member companies are listed on separate stock exchanges; Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and SANYHE International Holdings Co., Ltd. on the Hon...
Within Europe, when electronic or electrical equipment of any kind is intended for use in a potentially hazardous area, the equipment must be ATEX-certified – per the EU directive 2014/34, which is more commonly known as the ATEX 114 directive (derived from the French: ATmospheres EXplosives). ATEX equipment is classified into groups and categories which are defined by ...
The MB-L160 is a crusher bucket with a productivity of 20 m3/h that can be mounted either on telehandlers, wheel loaders (7 to 10 tons), backhoe loaders and skid with either rubber tires or tracked (with operating weights of more than 4, 5 tons). With the MB-L160, each of these machines can be turned into a mobile crusher, efficient, sturdy and extremely versatile. ...
